Travelers can create a Chinese Lantern (天燈) with a wish written on it to release into the sky. We booked a private day tour through MyProGuide to do the ubiquitous lanterns and waterfall. We found Jo so amenable we asked if he could help with a guide and driver on other days of our Taiwan holiday too. We ended up using the service on three occasions, each with a great guide and a driver in a very comfortable vehicle. They helped suggest itineraries and accommodated our must-see's whilst taking care of some special dietary needs too. Always available on WhatsApp to help even when not on a tour. Jo has a fabulous service level, and is very well priced. Nothing beats a private tour for convenience either. He even arranged a private transfer from the high speed train for a visit to Alishan national park. Highly, highly recommended.
